On Christmas Eve we decided to get take-outs from them so we could spend a relaxing night home. We picked up our 6 dinners & everyone enjoyed their meal! All the food was in very nice recyclable to-go containers & stayed warm on the drive home. There were very little leftovers!

Pam R. – Goshen, NY:“I’ve waited to write this review after over 6 visits to Vesuvio’s. Restaurants can have a great night, then subsequent visits are not quite as great. This has not been the case here.
They have a nice wine list and last night I had one of the best dirty martinis ever. Ok, two. Their fried calamari is always delicious and perfectly cooked. It’s difficult to choose a different appetizer, but last night we were lucky enough to try the Oysters Rockefeller on the specials menu. Once again, another amazing appetizer. The oysters were not overcooked and you could still taste them amongst the other ingredients.
During my visits there, I have had different pasta, chicken and eggplant dishes. All have been delicious, generous portions. At other restaurants I tend to order my salad dressing on the side, but not here. Salads come perfectly dressed – not too much or too little.
Even though I prefer an after dinner cordial, and there are several on the menu, last night we shared a lemon, blueberry mascarpone cake that was a great end to another wonderful meal. Luckily I saved room for dessert by bringing home half of my orecchiette, sausage, broccoli rabe dinner. (Just finished it for lunch!)
The owners, Pete and Concetta make you feel like you’re visiting their home and I’ve noticed them checking on customers throughout the evening. They obviously take customer service very seriously and it is evident in their staff. Last night our server Mandy was friendly and attentive, and even the busboy, Adolfo was terrific. We never had to wait for our places to be cleared or water glasses refilled.

“After waiting for years for this place to reopen we finally got to enjoy the restaurant. First, let me say what a wonderful job they did on the remake. The old restaurant was functional but dated. The new space is quite lovely. The menu is pretty straight forward. We each had a glass of house wine..both were good
The bread was warm and delicious. Salads were good, pretty standard. I had the Chicken Francese. It was quite good..very flavorful. The side of pasta was ok, but would have liked to have had a spoon to twirl the pasta. Also, would like to have had my own Parmesan cheese on the table instead of having it served by the server. I wanted more as I was into the pasta, but the server wasn’t around so… My wife had the cod special and really liked it. Didn’t have dessert so can’t give any insight into those. On the whole a very positive experience. Would come back. Don’t let the parking lot fool you. While it was pretty full there were more than enough tables inside.”
